Libraries have always been Susan’s second home, so coming to work at Central Library a decade ago felt like docking with the mother ship! L is for Librarian: The ABCs of Los Angeles Central Library is her 10th picture book, joining titles that include Here We Go Digging for Dinosaur Bones and Hey Ho, to Mars We’ll Go! Besides writing for children, she has a penchant for historic mysteries, ginger cats, and taking photos of bugs on flowers.
